ATMs & Shared Branching

We are on the network.

What does this mean?

Shared branching and the ATM network offers convenience and expanded service to BHCU members. The concept is simple – members can access their BHCU accounts at over 5,000 locations nationwide and can now access over 30,000 surcharge free ATM’s. This means you have more direct, surcharge-free access to your money than most traditional bank customers do.

In order to perform transactions at a shared branching location, a member will need their credit union account number and photo identification.

The following examples of services available at shared branching locations:

  • Deposits and withdrawals
  • Transfers between accounts
  • Account/loan Inquiries
  • Loan payments
  • Print transaction history
  • And more

Shared branching and the ATM network is ideal for members who travel on business or pleasure, have children away at college, or relocate out of state – for any situation, it is easy and convenient.

When looking for a shared branching location, look for the CO-OP Shared Branch Logo or visit co-opsharedbranch.org. ( This link will navigate you away from the BHCU.org site.) You can also download an application for your Apple or Android smartphone.
